The 2013 Pines Tour de Valley is a new and exciting team-based cycling challenge that follows the course proposed for the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
Besides the individual time trial event, riders will similarly experience the stunning view of Currumbin Valley and the scenic countryside of the lush Currumbin Creek.
The Team Cycling Challenge provides riders the chance to ride a 36km or 72km distance in teams of 4 or 6. Riders are very much encouraged to remain with their team mates and work cooperatively to reach the finish line.
Meanwhile, the Time Trial Event allows cyclists to test themselves via the 36km course and be crowned the `Queen’ or ‘King’ of the Valley. Riders will pass by the Valley’s hidden attractions and enjoy the area’s idyllic setting.
Meanwhile, spectators will surely enjoy the event’s festive atmosphere.
The 2013 Tour de Valley will take place on October 13, 2013 at the Merv Craig Sporting Complex, 26 Galleon Way, Currumbin Waters. It is a short drive from our Burleigh Heads Accommodation.
